We service the Crystal Lake, Lake in the Hills, Cary, Huntley, Algonquin and Woodstock areas (15
mile radius of Crystal Lake). References are gladly provided.
Our expertise is in the complete, hands on, care of dogs, cats, ferrets, small furries (mice to guinea
pigs), birds (finches to macaws), reptiles - specifically: turtles, snakes, geckos, frogs, chameleons,
beardies and iguanas.
We are also offering daily dog care for the working parent. We will come in each requested day for
20 minutes to care for your dog(s). We offer daily walks, play time, cuddle time, feeding and water
replenishment, after spay/neuter or surgery care or whatever your pet desires. Old dog just needs a
quick potty? We offer pop-in visits for a quick potty for 10 minutes. Sign up with a neighbor and
receive a 20% discount. If your pup has friends in the neighborhood I can bring them
together for a play session or combined walk, which would double the time out for your
pet & theirs for a discounted price for both owners.
We also offer a puppy phase out program where younger puppies who are unable to hold their
bladders for a long period of time will be slowly weaned off of multiple visits to avoid urinary tract
infections that are common when they try to hold it for too long too quickly. This consists of, as an
example for an eight week old pup, coming at 11:00 and 2:00 each day for 3 months, at 12:00 and
3:00 each day for 1 week, at 12:00 and 4:00 each day for 1 week etc. until they are weaned down to
one daily visit.
Last minute requests are available to working parents who may get stuck at work, in traffic or want to
go out for some time after work.

ensure a current picture is available in case of emergency. We provide a light timer to turn off and
on daily, trash removal on garbage day, retrieval of mail, newspapers and pamphlets, plant watering,
visual property check and running water/toilet flushing for extended stays. During excessive weather
conditions (such as tornado's or damaging winds) when safe to do so we will provide an extra visit to
ensure your home and pets are not in danger.
At no time during vacation care do I use a vehicle with KnowPlace Pets lettering on it, solicit your
neighbors, or in any way make known your absence from your home. Keys / codes are maintained
in such a way that they are never present with your name and/or address.

their comfort for our convenience. Any job done well is done right!!!
