My friend Cooper - RIP August 23, 2006.

A beautiful, vibrant, boy, so full of love, taken early by an illness that strikes too
many.  You were shown so much love, your love knew no bounds, your family and
friends grieve your loss daily.   Your family loved you enough to let you go.

I held you close and was with you at the end.  At the bridge you run free now.

You are missed by many.
My friend Frank - RIP April 8, 2007.

These heartfelt words from his parents:

"This is how we remember our buddy, Frank.
He could sit like that for as long as you'd let
him. He was demanding when the food got
low and would come in before the alarm went
off and let you know about it with glee.
Nothing fazed him and everyone who met
him, loved him. We miss him! "

Though I only met Frank a few times, being
the only one brave enough to visit with me
while I was there, I can easily understand why
his loss is so painful.

I was blessed to have known him.
In Memory
of the pets we too have loved
My friend Lucky - RIP July 25, 2006.

Though I was only blessed to have you in my life for a short time, the love you showed me
brightened my day.

So aptly named, you came from an unknown start, welcomed into a loving home and given
the heart of one who loved you more than herself I think.   Through an illness that could
not be overcome and a future not so bright your mother showed you the most love one
could in ending your suffering and setting you free to a greater place.  If tears measured
love then you knew lots.  Know that one day you will be reunited with the one who loved
you enough to help you find freedom.

You will be so missed
A sad day for us...

On March 15th we lost Gus to a fatal heart disease
(DCM).

Our lives were blessed when Gus entered it.  We only
had 5 years with him, but in hindsight I wouldn't have
traded a minute of it for a lesser dog for longer.  We had
several months to come to terms with his illness, to
enjoy his last days playing, watching him do the dance
of joy when he got a rawhide,  zoomie through the yard,
cuddle and just be Gus. Gus was our best friend, the
backbone to KnowPlace and a best friend to many of
your pets.  He spent his life making your pets feel
comfortable, helping to train your pets and comfort them
when they were miss
ing you.  He is missed by many.
This is our last picture with Gus, though there are many
on this site.
